Services We Offer

We provide cosmetic, family, and restorative dentistry services. You can count on us for the following:

Oral Assessments & Cleanings

We believe that the health of your teeth is vital, not just for an appealing smile but for your overall health. Flossing and brushing are essential for good oral health. However, visiting your dentist regularly for oral health checkups is necessary.

During the checkup, Dr. Munira or Dr. Singh will examine your teeth, tongue, and gums for signs of periodontal disease, tooth decay, or other issues you might not have noticed. They will also perform cleanings to prevent tooth decay.

Root Canal Therapy

The Smile Society team has extensive experience performing successful root canal therapies. With sedation and numbing, our root canal treatment is pain-free. This treatment can help save your tooth or teeth and prevent the need for an extraction.

Veneers

Veneers are an excellent way to enhance your smile. Our dentists will bond these porcelain coverings to your teeth to provide a classically shaped look. We recommend veneers to patients with chipped or stained teeth.

Crown Placement

If you have a damaged tooth in East Windsor, getting a dental crown from Dr. Mandeep Singh or Dr. Munira Sulaiman is a brilliant way to regain your smile.

Sleep Apnea Treatment

If you are dealing with sleep apnea, the Smile Society’s dentists can provide a tailored treatment plan to ensure you enjoy a good night’s sleep.

Composite Fillings

If you have a tooth cavity in East Windsor, we are ready to offer composite fillings to restore your smile and avoid potential complications. After the procedure, your smile will feel and look more natural.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is an affordable, fast, and less invasive cosmetic treatment. Dr. Mandeep Singh and Dr. Munira Sulaiman will provide teeth whitening services to reverse yellowing or stains and brighten your smile.

Invisalign

If you have crooked teeth, gaps, and other orthodontic problems, Invisalign treatment from our dental office may be ideal. With our clear aligners, you can improve your smile without using uncomfortable and bulky braces.

  1. What Type of Toothbrush and Toothpaste Do You Need?A proper toothbrush is crucial for strong and healthy teeth. A standard manual or electric toothbrush will do for most cases. However, we recommend toothbrushes with soft bristles over those with medium or hard ones. Soft bristles are gentle on the enamel while hard bristles can be too abrasive and erode the enamel.Toothbrushes with small heads are better than those with large ones. Although large heads cover more surface area, they’re too large to get to places behind the mouth. Smaller heads allow for better dexterity and cleaner teeth. As for toothpaste, find a fluoridated toothpaste brand, preferably one with whitening for whiter teeth.
  2. Why Do I Need to Visit the Dentist?Regular dentist visits are essential for maintaining your dental health. The visits allow the dentist to detect early signs of decay and bacterial infections and treat them before they get out of hand. Dentists can also check for signs of oral cancer and begin treatment immediately if they show.Dentists also deep clean your teeth during regular visits to remove plaque, tartar, and debris. The build-up of plaque and tartar on the teeth promotes dental decay and gum disease. Cavities aside, deep cleans also remove stains from tobacco or eating pigmented foods. Dentists may suggest teeth whitening in some cases, and you can make arrangements for the same.

You can also receive professional advice from your dentist on maintaining your dental advice. In short, dentists will advise how to brush your teeth, the best type of toothpaste and toothbrush, and foods to avoid.

  3. Are Dental X-Rays Safe?Dental X-rays are safe for patients of all ages, including kids and the elderly. Dentists use electromagnetic radiation to capture images of the bones in your jaw and teeth in their sockets. This radiation permeates through soft tissue revealing your bones and teeth. Modern X-rays use 80% to 90% less radiation than traditional ones.X-rays are painless and patients won’t feel a thing throughout the procedure.  However, exposure to excessive amounts of X-ray radiation is dangerous and can cause symptoms like nausea, vomiting, hair loss, and loss of consciousness. X-rays can even detect early signs of cavities, tumors, and jaw bone deterioration. Patients will put on lead aprons and cover parts of the body to protect them from unwanted X-ray exposure.
  4. How Do Dental Fillings Work?Dental fillings are a type of restorative dental treatment for repairing teeth damaged by decay or physical trauma. Dentists remove the decayed or damaged parts of the teeth and use fillings to restore their structure and functionality. Fillings differ from dental bonding in that binding hides imperfections on the teeth, while bonding restores functionality. Dental filling materials like amalgam, composite resin, and silver stick to the inner surface of the teeth permanently. They last ten to fifteen years before they fall out and need replacement.
